It is an advanced hydration solution specially formulated with an optimal balance of sugar and electrolytes needed to help replenish vital fluids and minerals. HOW TO USE
- PREPARATION: Mix one packet of Pedialyte Powder with 16 fl oz water only. Stir or shake to dissolve. Tastes best when served cold. Begin with small frequent sips every 15 minutes, increasing serving size as tolerated. Continue to use for as long as symptoms are present
- To maintain proper hydration, 2 to 4 servings (32-64 fl oz) of Pedialyte may be needed per day. Consult your doctor if vomiting, fever, or diarrhea continues beyond 24 hours or if consumption needs are greater than 2 L (64 fl oz) per day
- Recommended dose: Infants less than 1 year - Consult a physician before using Pedialyte® Advanced Care® Plus. Children 1 year of age - Give 50-100 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1 L over a period of 24 hours. Children 2–9 years - Give 100-200 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1 L over a period of 8 to 24 hours. Adults, adolescents and children of 10 or more years: Take 200-400 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, or as much as wanted
- Storage Instructions: Store unused reconstituted product in sealed container in refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Do not store powder packets at extreme temperatures
- For infants under 1 year, consult a physician or qualified health care professional before using Pedialyte® Advanced Care® Plus as infants and young children are at greater risk of dehydration
