Chicco Boppy Comfy Hug Baby Carrier For Newborn is the best baby carrier for newborns in their early months of life, particularly premature babies (max. weight 9 kg). The Chicco Boppy Comfy Hug Baby Carrier supports the ergonomic positioning of the little legs, so that the correct development of the hips is promoted. The International Institute for Hip Dysplasia (IHDI) recognizes the ComfyHug baby carrier as a hip-friendly product when used as described (M-position). The padded back part follows the physiological shape of the back (C-position). The baby carrier is equipped with a head and neck support for even more support, especially in the first few weeks of life. The baby carrier must be tied according to the baby's height and weight. At 2.5 kg to 5 kg: cross the straps above the child's legs; from 5kg to 9kg: make a first crossover above the legs and a second one below them and finally secure the straps in the back with a simple double knot. This also adjusts the seat width for the baby. An additional newborn pillow elevates the baby in the carrier so that the head rests against mum's neck and can then be removed as the baby grows. The Chicco Boppy Comfy Hug Baby Carrier is made of a soft, cuddly jersey fabric that adapts perfectly and is therefore not only super comfortable for the baby, but also for the wearer. Wide carrying straps optimally distribute the weight over the back. It is flexible and can be carried wonderfully like a sling, without annoying buckles. HOW TO USE
- Aways fit Chicco Boppy Comfy Hug Baby Carrier onto your shoulders before placing your child inside it.
- 1. Fasten the abdominal strap, at the height of the navel, use a simple double knot to tie the straps under the belt on the front. 2. Fit the product and correctly position the inner seat. 3. Insert your arm through the opening provided. 4. Insert your child, placing him/her correctly on the seat and bring your child close to your chest.
- To remove: : it is recommended to sit or use a flat surface while carrying out the steps for removing your child from the product. Open the knot, loosen the sling and slip out your arms.
- WARNINGS & INSTRUCTIONS: Range of use: from birth 2.5 Kg to 9 Kg. When using this product constantly monitor your child. Before each use, make sure all fasteners/knots are secure. Take special care when leaning or walking. Never bend at waist, bend at knees. Only use this product for children between 2.5 Kg to 9 Kg. For preterm babies and/or children with health problems, the recommendations to seek medical advise before using the product. Do not use more than one baby wrap at a time. Do not use if any parts are missing or damaged. Do not use when it shows signs of wear (for example, fibre balls/piling).
