Salinal is highly effective in relieving the discomfort and pain due to gaseous distention in the gastrointestinal tract. Its active component Simethicone is a surface-active agent. It acts as a dispersant of gas bubbles b reducing surface tension, destroying thereby mucosal pockets of gas which cause distress. This product is used to relieve symptoms of extra gas such as belching, bloating, and feelings of pressure/discomfort in the stomach/gut. Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the gut. The antifoaming property of SalinaI can be utilized during gastroscopy and bowel radiography to reduce gas shadow and enhance visualization. SalinaI Drops is mainly indicated for Infants and babies to relieve bloating and
flatulence resulting from feeding problems.

• Suggested dosage: 1 – 2 mL 4 times a day, after meals and at bedtime
• For diagnostic purposes, 2 mL drops to be taken 3 times, one day before the examination, and 2 mL drops in the morning of the day of examination
• Infants and babies (below 2 years): 0.5 – 1 mL four times daily before feeds, or as directed by the physician. The dosage can be mixed with infant food or other suitable liquid to ease administration
