Dolvic K 50mg tablets contain an active ingredient diclofenac potassium 50mg which belongs to class of Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase-1 and -2, the enzymes that are responsible for production of a prostaglandin; (PG) G2, which is the precursor to other prostaglandins. These molecules have broad actions in the mechanism of pain and inflammation and the inhibition of production of these prostaglandins by diclofenac results in cure from inflammation and pain. Diclofenac potassium has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to relieve pain and swelling and lower body temperature.

• General dosage: The recommended starting dose is 100 mg to 150 mg each day
• Do not exceed more than 150mg per day or as directed
