Dexcom G4 Platinum Transmitter is a small, reusable transmitter that connects to the sensor wire and sends real-time readings wirelessly to a receiver, so the user can view the information. It has a length of 3.8 cm; width: 2.3 cm; thickness: 1.3 cm and weighs 10 g. The transmitter is the grey “chip” that snaps into your sensor pod.

• Transmitter is fastened on top of the sensor and sends data wirelessly to the receiver
• The transmitter battery will last at least 6 months
