Clovacaine solution is a dental care solution designed for the treatment of tooth ache. It contains clove oil, lignocaine and geranium oil. Clove oil is a volatile liquid popularly known as dental analgesic. It helps to ease tooth ache when applied onto the gums. Clove oil contains an active ingredient called eugenol which has antibacterial and analgesic properties kills the bad bacteria and helps to maintain the oral hygiene. Lignocaine is a local anesthetic. It is non-irritating and relatively stable in the tissues where it spreads readily.The onset is rapid and loss of sensation may be maintained for several hours and Geranium oil incorporated in this formulation helps improves the odour within the oral cavity.
