• Put your baby on his back every time until he’s 1 year old. The safest sleeping position for a baby is on their back so always place your baby on their back to sleep and not on their front or side. If your baby can roll from his back to his side or tummy and back again, it’s ok if he changes positions while playing or relaxing on the mat.
