- Inserting or replacing batteries:Twist off the battery compartment lid counter-clockwise. Insert three alkali or normal AAA batteries according to the marking in the battery compartment. Always ensure the correct battery polarity. Place the battery compartment lid on the battery compartment. Always ensure the correct orientation of the lid
